Emission intensities
Uses default values for emission intensities. Emission intensity here means emissions per unit of imported product, such as per tonne or per MWh.
Uses midpoint values for emission intensities in non-electricity goods, halfway between the default value before the definitive-period markup and the ETS benchmark. Emission intensity here means emissions per unit of imported product, such as per tonne or per MWh.
Chart shows top 15 records only.

Trade values and physical import volumes are based on Eurostat COMEXT data and are adjusted for modelling purposes, including reallocation across EU importing countries and forward projection using AMECO-based growth assumptions. The CBAM Explorer tool was developed by experts from the Centre for Climate and Energy Analyses (CAKE) at the National Centre for Emissions Management (KOBIZE), part of the Institute of Environmental Protection-National Research Institute (IOŚ-PIB) within the framework of the LIFE ENSPIRE project, with substantial support from the EU ETS and CBAM Department and the Legal and Regulatory Department.
