CAKE at a few meetings concerning agriculture
In August, September and October 2023 our CAKE experts attended in a few expert meetings concerning the Agricultural sector, where they have an opportunity to present the CAKE model results.
- From August 29 to September 1, 2023, our CAKE experts Adam Wąs and Paweł Kobus attended XVII Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) in Rennes, where they presented the results of LIFEVIIEW2050 project in a poster session. During the XVII Congress EAAE our experts showed the poster titled: “Climate Mitigation And Food Security: Searching To Resolve Conflicts In Policy Measures For Agriculture Of Poland”.
- On September 21, 2023, CAKEparticipated in the conference organized by the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics National Research Institute entitled “The agri-food sector and rural areas facing challenges“, where we had the opportunity to present the results of LIFEVIIEW2050 modeling in the context of the potential impact of #climate #policy on the agricultural sector.
- From October 1-to 5, 2023, our experts fattended International Ecological Engineering Society (IEES) conference – “Closed cycles and the Circular Society 2023: The power of ecological engineering” where they presented the results of LIFEVIIEW2050 in a poster session. Our CAKE agriculture modelling experts Adam Wąs and Paweł Kobus presented a poster on the main results of the LIFEVIIEW2050 project titled: “Modelling Policy Options For GHG Mitigation In Polish Agriculture”
