CAKE at ECEMP Conference, 16.10.2024
On the 16.10.2024 Marek Antosiewicz our CAKE, KOBIZE Expert (Centrum Analiz Klimatyczno-Energetycznych (CAKE) / Centre for Climate and Energy Analysis) presented selected results of our second LIFE VIIEW 2050 analysis on the interaction of climate policy instruments with the ETS on the ECEMP2024 Conference entitled “Energy Transition Scenarios for a Climate Neutral Europe”. The Conference was held in Brusselss and online.
Marek Antosiewicz took part in the Parralel session 2 entitled “Climate Change Impacts” with the presentation focused on economics of climate policy instruments. The 15 minute presentation he showed that pricing negative emission technologies such as BECCS will significantly reduce emission allowance prices, while at the same time having a positive impact on gdp and consumption.
