CAKE at SPARCCLE Meeting

On 7–8 October 2025 , representatives of all work packages of the SPARCCLE project gathered in Milan for the General Assembly, hosted by the CMCC Foundation. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to review ongoing progress, exchange experiences among partners, and plan the next steps in advancing research on climate impacts, adaptation strategies, and social inequalities across Europe.

Discussions focused on how to better integrate research activities, share data and methodologies between work packages, and ensure that scientific results can effectively inform policy and decision-making processes.

CAKE was represented by Zuzanna Różańska, who participated in sessions dedicated to enhancing collaboration and aligning approaches within the project’s analytical framework. Through our involvement in SPARCCLE, CAKE contributes to developing interdisciplinary knowledge that supports fair and effective climate policies, helping Europe strengthen its resilience to climate and socio-economic challenges.
