Picking Up Dog Poop - How NOT To Do It! As responsible dog owners, we all know the importance of picking up dog poop. We understand very well the implications of leaving it lying on the floor. Abandoned dog waste is a threat to your environment, our waters, our health, the fitness of our pets and the fitness of others and their pets. Many of us know the significance of using dog poop bags to accomplish our tasks as a responsible dog owner. However, please read on to understand just how many of us usually do not perform this correctly & most importantly, safely.    1) The first mistake we make is our dog poop bags may have holes inside them.
